Thinking of autumn and cooler weather

I've been dreaming of autumn and cooler temperatures.
Records have been broken here in Pennsylvania with a very long heat wave and high humidity. Saturday it felt like 106.
Needless to say I can not wait for fall.
Just had to make Autumn Makes Me Sing Annie. She will be up on Ebay this week.
This Annie has been sold.

I love this fabric on Apples Annie.
She is holding her Apple Collector sign and her hang tag is an apple cart.

Wishing all a wonderful week, hopefully with cooler temps! God Bless.

Loud Rooster Lives Here!

When I found this saying "loud rooster lives here" I just had to make an Annie doll. Then I found the little chick timer and thought how perfect. She is my smaller Annie at 12 inches tall. Hope you are enjoy her as much as I did making her.

My favorite flower is the rose so naturally I kind of buy too much fabric with roses. But this one is so pretty with a lilac background. Her lace trim is vintage and I found a cameo to add to her lace collar.

These two Annies will be going up on Ebay this week.

Thanks for visiting and God bless.

Summer Days

I am just too busy this summer, at work and at home. I remember summers being lazy days spent enjoying family picnics, swimming, hours spend reading, etc. Sure am wishing those days were here again. But. . .I did have an enjoyable Saturday at my great niece's first birthday party and next weekend is a huge Italian family reunion. So what am I complaining about! It is good to be alive and well. Thank you God.

Here are two new Annies going up on Ebay this week. Enjoy and God bless.

"Hope" dressed in pink strips and florals with lime green loons.

"Love Lives Here" with heart shaped measuring spoons.

Italia!

I was a little bored and decided to make an Italia Annie. My husband's Italian family reunion is in two weeks. I enjoyed the challenge of researching her outfit and then sewing her costume. I have no idea what I will do with her...but when the creative itch comes sometimes its just best to go with it!

In Memory of Annie & Happy Birthday Anna

Made this Annie for my great neice, Anna, who turned 1 year old on June 30. Her underdress has all the names a grandmother is called. Anna was named for her great grandmother, my mom. She would sit with me and watch while I stuffed dolls and help me with ideas. All my Annies are dedicated to her.
Love you and miss you mom.

Beauty Lies Within

Just finished two new Annies for posting on Ebay this week. I've been busy at my real world job, you know the one that pays the bills....haven't been able to spend as much time as I would like playing with my Annies. Just did get 3 orders, all new Annies, no repeats, yeah! I love a challenge and don't like making an Annie twice, ugh!

Happy 4th of July! Enjoy, stay safe. God bless America and you.
