is probably my last Annie for 2012

I will be taking time off from creating Annies

to enjoy time spent with my family
and friends for the holidays
it has been an amazing year
with many many blessings
thanking God for our grandson, Dominic
and our new granddaughter, Camila

Holiday Annies

Praising God for all the folks helping

in the northeast after Superstorm Sandy

~

we were without power for 3 days

I cannot imagine people losing their homes

praying for all especially my family

in Ocean City, NJ

~

after I post here I cannot wait to get back to sewing new Annies

~

this is my last angel for the year

and she is special to me

her dress has the words to

"O Holy Night"

my favorite Christmas song

hope you enjoy her as much as I did making her

her apron is from a vintage doily

and

I hand stitched the flower, ribbon and Joy

so looking forward to Friday
our grandson, Dominic, is coming over for
trick or treat

he never wants to leave
so I can't wait to see his face when we tell him
he is sleeping over  :)

Holiday Annies

Welcome

~

I finished two new holiday Annies this weekend

~

on Annie's apron I stitched 3 ornaments matching her dress

 ~

I fell in love with this fabric and had to make an Annie

she comes with her little gingerbread man made from felt

and a tiny gingerbread cup

~

I've been extremely busy at work planning events

and exhausted at night

I have a few more holiday Annies planned

and hope to finish them soon

then I will take a much needed break come December

~

wow ~ finished three Annie's this weekend

and my wrists are aching because of it

Faith~Family~Friends Angel 

she has a vintage knitted doily apron

and a crochet doily for wings

this Annie comes with a little 6 inch Annie

and a rocking horse

they have been hanging on the factory wall

for over six months without hair

finally decided to finish them
I will list them on Ebay tonight

comes with her chenille snowman

her apron was hand stitched to match her dress

on Ebay at the end of the week

so I really didn't made three Annies in one weekend

but I did finish them and take pictures to post

I am quite proud of myself!

Christmas Annie and Pillows

Christmas Annie comes with two small pillows

~

they are reversible with designs on both sides

 I love this fabric ~ it came with a panel so I made some pillows for Annie

one pillow has

"It's Christmas time, it's time to bow our heads,

say a prayer and celebrate the birth of Jesus" 

the other side has a little prim lamb

~

the second pillow says

"It's Christmas time, it's time for angels to watch over us

 and share some Christmas wishes"

the other side has prim candles

~

my prayer is to never forget the reason for the season, our Savior's birth!
