Happy Haunting Witch

started working on fall Annies

~

this is my only witch for this year

i enjoy making autumn Annies 

loved making her broom with crow

and stitching the tiny spider on her hang tag :)

 ~

just love blue and brown together

this Annie i made a pocket and stitched

some brown leaves and "blessings" 

then tucked a little bear in it

 ~

this is one of my folk art dolls

she has been hanging on my factory wall

for quite some time

i am having trouble parting with her

but finally took some pics

~

i still don't know when or if i will list her   :/

Summer "Welcome Friends" Annie

one year old grand daughter

I seem to be on a pin cushion theme

most of my Annies have pin cushions lately

Ladybug Hugs

important things first!

happy 4th birthday to my first grandchild 

and only grandson, Dominic

~

now on to my lastest Annie

it still amazes me how my Annies develop

~

my husband likes to buy me minature rose bushes 

in these adorable little planters 

so I finally decided to start using them 

as pin cushions 

~ 

a dear friend sent me this little ladybug bear 

(thank you Madelyn)

~ 

found the perfect fabric in my too huge stash of quilting fabric

~

and here she is "Ladybug Hugs" Annie

Love Matters Annie with 4 inch Annie doll

"Love matters" Annie comes with her own 4 inch

raggedy ann doll and a heart ornie

her dress fabric I found at Joann's 

and just had to make an Annie

it cost a lot more but 

I love how she turned out

 ~

Blessings Annie comes with her purse

that can be used as a pin cushion

~

her hair was made with 

Paternayan wool rug yarn

~

this rug yarn is no longer made and 

I can only make a few more Annies with

my remaining stash of Paternayan rug yarn

~

I now use Halcyon wool rug yard

(which I do love)

but they do not have this yellow

~

 was busy all weekend working in the "factory"

this coming Sunday

she comes with a small basket of shamrock ornies

this next Annie I am not too sure

I will be keeping her hair this way

had a request for braids with no hat

so decided to give this Annie only braids

please give me your thoughts

I'm thinking my Annies look best with full hair 

 maybe she should have blonde curly hair?

her bodice is hand stitched to match her dress

also added a flower to her hang tag

Holiday Annies

Praising God for all the folks helping

in the northeast after Superstorm Sandy

we were without power for 3 days

I cannot imagine people losing their homes

praying for all especially my family

in Ocean City, NJ

A Teddy Bear & Bunny Christmas

working on Christmas Annies

my favorite time of year ~ celebrating Christ's birth ~ 

the only reason for the season

one has a bunny made using a Sweet Meadows Farm pattern

and

the other is a TY bear I changed and 

dressed with a crocheted collar and bow

wish I had more time to write but my real world job 

is keeping me way too busy

~

love my weekends when I play with my Annie dolls!

A Star for Annie

I saw a similar prim star and 

just had to make an Annie with her own star

~

little Annie has no body though

just her head sewed to her star :/

 ~

this Annie has been hanging bald 

on my "factory" wall for awhile  

 finally decided to give her and little Annie hair 

~

their dresses have a toile print of little girls playing 

there is even a doll carriage 

so naturally little Annie had to be in one too

~

all little girls cherish their dolls

so of course she had to be "Cherish"

Cherish is up on Ebay until Sunday evening
