it is no longer made

this Annie has the last that was in my stash

she will be up on eBay Sunday evening

working on another "Bloom where you are planted"

 she is made from muslin and coffee stained

with hand painted eyes and a stitched face

 she has a full head of hair

I use wool rug yarn and hand stitch

Annie's heart ornie was hand stitched

and has a tiny crochet pink butterfly

Winter Theme "Believe" Annie

trying a different yarn

for my Annie's hair

Burly Spun by Brown Sheep Yarn

is a straight spun wool

~

I loved Paternayan rug yarn

it was so soft and gave Annie curly hair

unfortunately it is no longer made

~

Halcyon rug yarn is very close in color

to Paternayan but it is coarser

and Annie's hair is harder to control

~

now Annie will have either

curly or straight hair

the decision will be made

after she is all dressed and we see

which she looks best it!

Ladybug Hugs

important things first!

happy 4th birthday to my first grandchild 

and only grandson, Dominic

~

now on to my lastest Annie

it still amazes me how my Annies develop

~

my husband likes to buy me minature rose bushes 

in these adorable little planters 

so I finally decided to start using them 

as pin cushions 

~ 

a dear friend sent me this little ladybug bear 

(thank you Madelyn)

~ 

found the perfect fabric in my too huge stash of quilting fabric

~

and here she is "Ladybug Hugs" Annie

her dress fabric I found at Joann's 

and just had to make an Annie

it cost a lot more but 

I love how she turned out

my remaining stash of Paternayan rug yarn

I now use Halcyon wool rug yard

(which I do love)

but they do not have this yellow
