Autumn Annies and Dominic

Pops and I got a surprise visit from Dominic, our 15 month old grandson.

We got to play tonight while Mommy and Daddy spent some time together.
Two new Annies for Ebay this week are Happy Harvest with her giant corn cob and Autumn Makes Me Sing. Tried a new acrylic yarn for their hair ~ it takes a little longer to do since it is a 4 ply instead of 3 ply yarn ~ it is softer than the wool I normally use ~ I think I like the wool better ~ opinions are appreciated ~ please and thank you. :)

Wishing all a wonderful, miracle filled week. Praying my new great-neice will make an appearance into this world ~ she is over due and her mommy and all her family sure wants to meet her.
God bless ~ thanks for visiting.

  3. Oh dear Caroline! Your grandson has got an irresistible smile!
And your dolls are the most beautiful handmade dolls I've ever seen! Can I ask you where I could find a simple tutorial to learn sewing a doll? I'm not very good at sewing, but I'd like to try creating a doll for my sister. She's 35, but she's got a psyco-physical handicap. She's always like a baby and she love so much dolls. She's got lots of dolls in her room, but she's happy when she receives one more. Her birthday is on September 27th. Could you please help me? I need some suggestions about materials and techniques. Excuse me if my requests are inopportune. I thank you in advance anyway.
    Greetings from Italy,
    Rosa
PS: I hope my English is comprehensible!Excuse me for the mistakes! n

  4. Hi Rosa,
Thank you for your compliments. Your English is very good. I have an old pattern of my 17 inch doll I would be happy to give you. If you send me your email address I could email you the pattern. If you have any questions, just ask me and I will help if I can. The pattern tells you what materials you will need. My email address is charmingsbycmh@gmail.com. God bless.
