Sweet Land of Liberty Annie

my last patriotic Annie for this year ~

on her apron I stitched "Sweet Land of Liberty"

and she holds an ornie of 3 stars 

who doesn't love hydrangea

I just had to buy this fabric and make an Annie

the border of her skirt has a wonderful saying of

 Live~Laugh~Love~Be Thankful

I am really not liking Photobucket with the new editing program

some of my photos look blurred when they are not ~

if anyone knows of a better photo host that has editing

please let me know

two more weeks and we will be blessed with a new grandchild

Redwork Apron

finally finished this little apron

I was stitching a little each night after work

I love redwork 

even ordered two Christmas stocking patterns

to stitch for my grandchildren

how long this apron took I better get started!

Sweet Annie

Sweet Annie has coppery hair and 

carries some "sweet annie" in a rusty tin pail

also added a yellow fabric flower to her pail

I just love sewing the dresses for my Annies

this Annie has a pinafore tied with rawhide at her sides

she also has a rusty bell on her hair bow

her charm says trust as that is my prayer

for America to trust in God again!

Summer Parasol

This weekend we celebrated my grandson's third birthday

I can't believe he is 3 already

and his little sister is almost here!

God is so good.

Goldilocks Annie

At least once a year I have this need to try something different

Goldilocks is my new doll design 

she is 12 inches long but very petite

her head is round ~ about the size of a golf ball

she has a long thin body ~ long legs

also she has wired arms to hold her little bear

just needed to try something different
